Was it March 1st?
I haven't seen anything about it lately. Guess its being carried on behind the scenes.

Behind the scenes? It's been in every issue of AIN in their event calendar for over a year now. It's been highly reported in AOPA, B/CA and several other industry leading periodicals. It's on NBAA's weekly update, AvWeb's twice weekly email, BusinessAvFlash and many many others, not to mention talked about here at great length.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but really man!

I meant as far as crew training and aircraft retrofit, if everyone is doing it, I hain't seen it!

Crew training here is all complete (XJT)! It's was a self study guide with a quiz at the end. All our pilots completed by the 9th.

As far as retro fit the ac, no need. All our planes are RVSM ready and have been as I imagine all Part 121 aircraft are.

At our outfit they had to double check for skin waviness around the static ports. The individual POI's apparently have input as to whether their airline is approved or not. We won't know until about the 18th or 19th. It is not automatic for all Pt 121 airplanes.
