Since i'm in the frac business, I airline quite a bit. I live in a city where most of my airline flights to and from are usually an hour or less from the airline's hubs. (philly, ewr, lga, etc.)

With that said, I've observed something which I think is silly. Why do the fa's HAVE to serve drinks in such a hurry ( on a short flight) that there is another fa behind her or him with a garbage bag to collect the cups already? It's like you are pressured to hurry up and drink your beverage. Do people automatically get thirsty when a plane takes off or something? Why don't they serve people and pick up the cups BEFORE the plane takes off at some of these airports where the taxi time is longer than the flight time?

I know some of these reasons are for regulations and things like that, but it is still funny to me. Especially after 8 days of serving the he11 out of our owners.

1. They can't during taxi. (I'm sure 121 equivalent of 135.122) 1st class may get some service while still boarding at gate. 2. Your in coach, get used to it!
