SWA recently signed a small package code share agreement with Hawaiian. You can now ship small packages on both carriers. So perhaps they are talking about expanding into a passenger agreement.

Can't happen unless ATA shuts down. ATA has an exclucivity agreement. Alot's happening, though.

In fact Hawaiian connects up quite nicely with Hawaiian in LAS and PHX, not to mention numerous other west coast cities.

I am sure they do. I bet United connects well with United and Southwest with Southwest also!

:)

At what point would we know whether SWA is interested in the Hawaii routes? Could they buy the ETOPS rating (ATA asset) or would they need to start from scratch?

Hi.

Sorry to hear about ATA. I wanted to go there.

USA Jet is hiring, and we especially need DC-9 guys. Starting pay is $39K/year. If you have the hours, Falcon capt upgrade is about 6 months, and DC-9 capt should come down to about 2 years.

We have two bids out now for DC-9 capt, with only 6 elligible pilots.

If U want a lot of info, PM me.
