Why has this thread gone on for so long? Oh wait it is flightinfo after all.

I even bracketed it as a "rumor" for those unable to separate fact from fiction!

Although I am disappointed nobody has attacked me personally yet (another Flightinfo tradition)…

some FI members really lack in the reading and comprehension department....not referring to CX880's comment, just the quote I have in here.

Some of the times I really think that the guys read the full thread, regardless of a rumor or not, but turn it into what they really want it to be.

Nonono, you all have it wrong... RAH is closing up shop at Frontier, selling the Airbus fleet to themselves to fly for DAL with their own pilots (since as someone else mentioned, DAL is handling out scope like pancakes at a fly-in breakfast)... plus they were having a drool problem in the E145 cockpits from when they acquired Frontier in the first place (messes with the avionics you know...)

Bombardier, out of the kindness of their own heart of course, is GIVING 45 CRJ900s to Mesa (so the FOs can wear their stripes backwards). Mesa is going to start their own 121 flying to/from CLT and DCA mostly to Philly and a few direct to PHX.

Since SkyWest has enough cash to buy the world, they're picking up a fleet of 737s to fly for UAL. (this was the plan all along and UAL getting rid of their 73s was the first step)

And oh yeah... ASA is going to start flying in Vietnam, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..... oh wait...

In the time it took you to write that crappy post think of all the things you could have done instead. Get a life.

This is actually funny.

It does not matter which regional gets these planes. They are all leach airlines that take jobs away from better paying mainline carriers, all of them suck and are no better that one another. As long as they go to any regional its a shame.

Anyone reaize that getting their regional job may not be the stepping stone they once thought it was?

I read XJET is going to step in temporarily for Mesa flying the E145s until someone else gears up to fly all the RJ9s & Dash RJ2 replacements.
