RSW Notam discrepancy
Ran into this situation a couple weeks ago.
Flying the SHFTY1 arrival into RSW, for 24 arrivals, the chart instructions are to Depart MOEMO heading 220.
There is a Notam published for the SHFTY1 that says when landing 24, depart LBV on a 190 heading. The problem here is that per the arrival, we don't ever fly to LBV in the first place.
In our case, after seeing us turn at MOEMO, the controller queried us and asked if we had the Notam regarding the turn at LBV. We called the controller on the ground to discuss it and explained our discrepency. He further told us that everyone was "screwing it up". Seems to me that if an ambiguos Notam is issued and everyone is screwing it up, then maybe it's the Notam that's screwed up.?
Any RSW controllers out there with any insight on this???
