Riverside Airport (4B2), Utica, NY help

Does anyone have any info about Riverside Airport in Utica NY? Why it cloased down and how I could get in touch with the owner?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

From the info i have Landcare at one time was based there. Any Landcare pilots have any onfo abut it??

landcare didn't own riverside they just operated out of there 'cause it was cheap, they moved to uca many years ago, the only thing riverside had going for it was the mechanic school which moved to charleston outlet in frankfort. the airport was just an eyesore, not sure if it was within the purveyance of the new freeway they were building or not. haven't been there in many many years

if i'm not mistaken the actual owner died some time ago as well, why do you need to get ahold of this info? i could make some calls to a guy i know and maybe get the specifics.

A friend of mine is interested in possibly purchasing the airport if it were for sale. Thanks for the info guys.

no problem, the marina i believe is still there, he might try contacting the town of marcy offices they might have current info about the area where the 'runway' used to be.
