International deadheads

Are there any part 91 or 135 flight departments that DON'T book business tickets for flight crews when they travel internationally? I was under the impression that business class internationally was pretty much SOP for most flight departments.

Thanks

They are going to operate a plane that will probably cost upwards of 70k to run back to the states and they won't spend 3k for a ticket?

Ouch

You bet. Vulcan Flight Management (Paul Allen/KBFI) insists that his crews travel all over the world in Coach. F'king amazing!

Middle seat on a 10hour flight? Yeah right.

Depends on the culture of the company.

For it was easy, everyone flies business/first internationally. We are no different. Now if all the VP's fly coach, you will have an uphill battle.

Good luck in seat 79E ...

Hey Spooky, did you formerly fly the MD11 and 777?
