Just curious as to how those pilots that get furloughed deal with their 401(k) plans at their old employer... I have helped a couple pilots with transfers to an IRA...is this something that would be helpful to more?

401(k)

At Midwest Airlines, to obtain access to your 401(k), you had to resign your position with the company if you were furloughed.
