I've gotten some info. on this subject before, but I wanted to get a few more thoughts.

What sort of information should I include on my resume for the Guard and Reserves? Should I include work experience? How do I list my limited flight experience? Do I include my test scores? Do I include activities I did in college and afterward? Do I list references on my resume?

My current resume lists all the experience I've had with computer programming and other computer stuff. I'm trying to get an idea of what a selection board will be looking for in a resume.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can render.

resume suggestion for AF Reserve

Chaw [what's in a name anyway?]
Good questions. Scores and flight time are the attention getters. Accordingly, here's the breakdown of my resume:

Name
Contact info

Objective

Flight Experience
  • PCSM
  • AFOQT Scores
  • Fligbt Time / Ratings

Employment [aerospace related in my case]

Education

Volunteer/Public Service

It was a 1.5 page resume too

The Name: A mix of my last name and the fact that I used to chew tobacco, hence the chaw. I got it in college.

Thanks for the resume advice, I've been trying to figure out exactly what information is IMPERATIVE to include. No, wait, MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!!!
