Hey guys,

I'm about to beging the relentless bombardment of my resume on HR Departments. When faxing a resume to an HR department, is it customary to also include the cover letter? Perhaps a silly question, but some advice would be nice. For every company I've emailed I have prepared and sent cover letters. Should I do the same for faxes as well? Thanks in advance.

Cover letters

You absolutely, positively, unstintingly, must include a cover letter with any document you send to an airline, no matter what means of transmission you use. With a fax, you should use a fax cover page on top of the cover letter.

Here's a link to a like discussion on the other side of the board.

Good luck with your job search.

While I fully agree with you Bobby, I know that some airlines don't want a cover letter. At the DFW job fair (yes I feel dirty for going) I think is was Airtran that said not to send one.
