Actually, I could care less what pilots make. The key is that decisions need to made based upon the economics of the times.J32driver said:Funny... seems your gripe is the pilot's make too much money
lowecur said:Well, I've got Curly, and Larry complimenting each other on great posts. Perhaps Moe will show up soon.
lowecur said:
what you fail to acknowledge is that two very high ranking pilot's have chastised this charade of a MEC.
lowecur said:You have 4 reps, because they represent the majority of pilots at UAIR, calling the shots on a 12 member council.
lowecur said:They will not release the contract proposal to the general membership, because they know it would pass. In other words, they feel the membership (average age 53) is not savvy enough to understand the provisions of the contract they would be voting on. BS, they want the airline....gone. period, and if they release the contract to the general membership vote, they lose their control.
lowecur said:With Freshwater and his ilk(including you two), it's all about making a statement at the expense of the company. In other words, to hell with what the majority wants.
lowecur said:If Freshwater were so sure that he has enough of the membership to cause mortal job actions, he would release the contract for a vote. All Fred is doing is giving Lakefield more ammunition to get what he wants and more from the judge.
lowecur said:I also find it amazing that pilots love to sit on the sidelines and criticize mgt.
lowecur said:Just what makes you think that you're smart enough to turn around the legacy carriers that are all in trouble at this point.
lowecur said:Go ahead give me your plan on what it takes to save AMR, UAL, DAL, NWA, and maybe CAL with oil on it's way to $60.
lowecur said:I think your real gripe is mgt makes too much money
lowecur said:And you would hire people to run an airline from the ranks of retired pilots at age 60. Yeah, that's the ticket.
.....Boingman said:As according to ALPA C&BL. Reason being is they represent a numerically larger group of pilots. Really quite a simple situation, sorry for the confusion on your part. It's really quite simple. They should just give each member of the council an equal share of representation. Of course that would be fair, and something ALPA doesn't want.
I think you’re really reaching (again) here. I believe they are not releasing it because of issues between the negotiating committee and the MEC. I believe another U pilot can better explain this. But I'm sure they have already given up with you. That's why you should leave the speculation to someone who is comfortable with it.
Ilk? What a mature guy with the ability to have an intelligent conversation. Splain yourself, Lucy? I guess you just don’t like hearing an opposing point of view. I luv an opposing point of view, if it's an intelligent reply. Not surprising. Your pompous attitude to date with others is at best laughable. But do continue. Your insults and attempts to make a mockery of the situation and my thoughts only make you look like the idiot you have proven yourself to be over and over. OK.
I’m curious as to why you do not answer valid questions in response to some of your more ignorant comments? Cuz your intelligence scares me.
I see. So Lakefield is going to tell the judge about this situation and ALPA’s attorneys will reply that they are following the C&BL’s to the letter and the judge will ignore that? Sheesh, you’re a real intelligent guy. Are you getting your info from the same soothsayer that has been coming up with U transformation plan? Yes.
Not hard to do with all the colossal f*ck ups now you've gone over the line going on over there perpetrated by management. Again, awfully sensitive about management critisism. If you don't like it, may I suggest another board for you to spew your rehtoric on? No, you may not. I enjoy dealing with challenged individuals. You will find little sympathy, especially among the U types for the rape and pillaging that has taken place to date over there. That was the Vikings. Or are you a benefactor of those sweetheart deals?
How about firing dolts like you in management that have screwed things up royally to date. Make them leave their multi million dollar severance packages behind and possibly refund some of their bloated paychecks for doing nothing. That would be a good start. I've told you, I'm a semi retired insurance agent. You should seek anger management help.
Wow you are learning, albiet very slowly. And I can say that about you in reverse since you continually piss and moan about pilot pay. Management does make far to much money for the results they are getting. Actually I could care less what pilots make, just as long as it's within the boundries of a 10-15% profit margin.
So let’s cut to the chase here sport. OK. It is obvious, given your attitude and answers that you must be a part of U management. Let's see, I've now been accused of being mgt for every legacy carrier. Not a chance in hell you’re an analyst. No, I'm an analcyst. Even they have some common sense and a grip on the industry. Name One. Tell us all the real reason about your obvious hard on with pilots. I actually like most pilots, I just don't like you. I can’t imagine myself going to analystinfo.com and whining about how ignorant some analyst’s are on their forum.
P.S. Don’t bother with the threats about my pay being cut and my retirement vanishing yada yada yada. For me personally, I am financially immune to the fortunes of the airline industry or my company. OK, I'll let Gordon do that.

.....PS. You should have a neurologist do some cognitive tests, and relay the results to a good English teacher.Boingman said:They are Mr. Lowecur. They are given an equal amount of representation based of the numbers of pilots they represent. We'll that's funny. The press release says those 4 represent the majority of pilots. In other words, the other 8 reps have a smaller following. Care to explain that to me, or are you still challenged?
I did Mr. Lowecur. However I can safely assume I have a much better handle on the industry than you. Wrong, kerosene breath. You have a skewed handle.
Ilk. Does that ring a bell? No.
No, you just eventually ignore direct questions when you get boxed into a corner with your foolish comments. What is the “ luv” supposed to be? Are you trying to be sly and let us know SWA’s ticker symbol? Dang, I am impressed. I know. That's why you can't stop answering my posts. I'm addictive. Such a vast well of untapped knowledge. We have the honor of being in your presence and all of us are in awe of your intellect. Thank you.
Like I said go to something else like: insurancegeniusforums.com There you’ll be able to mingle with other know it alls just like yourself. Those people are not challenged like you.
Now that is a good one!!!. An insurance agent. About one cut above some neurosurgeon. Yes siree Mr. Insurance agent, you have a iron grip on the working and dealings of the airlines. At least you should of (it's have) continued your bullsh!t and hot air pretending to be an analyst. An Insurance agent!!! Yup.
And no, you haven’t told me of this fabulous career of yours before. Had you of (it's have) earlier I wouldn’t even of (it's have) wasted the time engaging you. Perhaps it was the voices in your head where you assumed you mentioned that to me? Just like how you claimed I said retired guys should run the airlines. There is help for these conditions. Where?
Did you sign up for this insurance agent thing on one of those infomercials late at night? I'm taking the 5th and drinking it.
Now that’s funny. Thank you. Does this apply to management as well? Yes.
Because you sound like the typical incompetent manager that permeates the industry. How can this be?
Great play on words as it seems to fit you quite well. However a cyst can be removed, even on your a$$. We don’t have that option here. Thanks, because I'll bet that would be uncomfortable.
Wouldn’t matter to me if he did. Who? But I’ll bet you’ll be the first one gloating about paycuts if it happens. No, but I think you should stay at a Holiday Inn Express. I hear a good nights sleep there does wonders for the challenged.
P.S, I think your phone is ringing. Sounds like another mark you can pawn a life insurance policy on. Been there, done that. Now I just collect renewal commissions. Life in Good.

Just hit the ignore button on this buffoon.
Just listen to yourself rattling on and on, and foaming at the mouth. You are addicted to me, admit it. It's OK to be obsessive compulsive. I gotcha.Boingman said:Genius. You have summed him up in one word. His avatar is also a good choice in that department.

Obsessive compulsive? Does part of your highly advanced training as an insurance salesman include pyschoanalysis? You keep referencing these types of diagnosis so one can only assume. It sure seem like those mail order careers are helping some find work other than the local 7-11.lowecur said:It's OK to be obsessive compulsive. .

Gee talk about OCD, you keep modifying your post. But speaking of amateurs, maybe you should go out an invest in one of those $49 "be a pilot" intro. rides. At least then, you could come back and post with twice as much knowledge about aviation than you have right now.lowecur said:you tyro.
