why do so many people resign from that company? Honest question...it seems like a good company but a lot of people resign.

Someone in my class at Republic quit the day before the checkride and was not held liable for the training contract, as it begins upon completion of the checkride.

Well, I am not planning on quitting I am enjoying the company to much. I only asked because my wife was showing some concerns with me being gone that's all.

thanks everyone

live in base....you're home sometimes twice as much.

A lot of people resign from every company dude. WTF!! Get over your Republic/CHQ bashing with your insincere question!

wasn't bashing just asking...seems a lot of people resign from there in particular. In addition they make you sign a training contract where a lot of other regionals at their level (i.e., xjet, skyw, awac) don't.
I understand people resign from every company a lot.

She's worried with you gone a bit? Just tell her to imagine you at home all the time with a job you hate...or no job at all. Stay put, live in base and enjoy life. I wish I had followed that advice when it was given to me.
