Is there anybody here who has been hired by an airline , but waiting on an Depatment of Justice Finger print and background check

How Long Does the whole process Take ?

It takes 45 days if you are NOT current and qualified. If you are, it take anywhere between 2-7 days.

Is this process required for permanent residents? Or is Resident Aliens a different category with different requirements?

resident alien is a permanent resident. same thing.

it took about a week for me and i was NOT current or qualified. I have seen it take about a week for two other people since then.
