A quick question to anyone:

If you interview with an Air Force reserve unit, and they "accept" you what are the chances/have you ever heard of anyone not getting approved by the board? Thanks

Its a long process to join. Many things can slow you down or stop the process all together. Your unit "hiring" you just means they want you to fly with 'em. You still have all the paperwork wickets to deal with. PM me for more info.

Chances are good :)

If you do in fact get selected by a unit, your chances of getting a slot from the board are excellent. This, of course, is assuming that you have no prior record [criminal], a stamped FC1, and have a decent PCSM (> 75). I have a friend who was selected by the board without even havening been picked up by a unit. I think his PCSM was in the mid 80's and he had all the other squares filled.

Good Luck!
