Did I read correctly over at airlinepilotcentral.com that Bedford is giving ONLY the F/O's raises unilaterally while you guys are in contract negotiations? There's probably more to the story if it is true at all.......just curious.

How long have you guys been in contract negotiations for?

The union ask the reverent for this about 3 years ago and he said we can't because the CBA!! Funny that now is ok!! more like they have no control on anything. The COO also talk about pay raises for the mechanics, what a perfect timeline when they are about to bring a union....
.... Hope the reverent is praying!!

he-he......

Well, the next question is what does their union have to say about it?

About the same as what the topped out FOs seem to be saying. FU to BB and WH. Give us a contract, and you might solve your dual problems of horrific attrition and new hire class no-shows.

Good on you guys.

I didn't realize you guys were having attrition/hiring problems such that a regional airline CEO would want to actually give pay raises out of the goodness of his heart :)

When is ASA giving ATPs to their f/o's? You'll see a mass exodus with that...

Other than going over-seas, where do you think these people will suddenly go to with an ATP?

No you won't, every other regional FO will also be getting an ATP, driving up competition for jobs that require an ATP.

Dang, you should be working on amending Contract 2011 right now. A whole contract period has already gone by.

Yep, which demonstrates what is wrong with the RLA. Mgmt has saved millions of dollars over the last 5 years by essentially freezing pay and work rules from our 2003 contract. Thats why the entire pilot group, minus 25 people, voted "YES" in the recent strike vote. Everyone is pissed and not going to bend over any further.

I left RAH after depositing my "YES" vote in the ballot box...one of the happiest days of my life.
