So I have a Restricted RadioTelephone Operator Permit but seemed to have misplaced the original somewhere for the time being. However, I do have a copy of the original with all the pertinent information on it. My question. Can I order a replacement of the original from the FCC? I'm sure the old one will show up just as soon as I get the replacement, but you guys know how that goes. Thanks.

radio license

Basically you just have to buy a new one. They don't replace it for free.

U can get a copy of the original. Its not officially the original but it looks the same. I called the FCC and they showed me how on the website. Basically you look up your current permit and print it. Its a slight gray area.

copy

That's good to know..mine is getting torn to pieces and is almost unreadable.
