Okay, I gotta ask. If they do, which they may, name this recent endeavour the 797, what comes next? The digits between the 7's have been exhausted.

In all seriousness, does anyone know how Boeing starting numbering their types?

El Camino with a CB system in it........the perfect 737 replacement!!

Hopefully Boeing calls the next one in line the 808.

Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaa Boooooooooyyyyyeeeeeeee

Hey, as long as Boeing doesnt cave and alllow Mullet jogging Suit Airlines, i mean Southwest, to bolt in the current 737 overhead panel, display analog instruments on a full glass setup and disable autothrottles/VNAV, theyll have a great airplane!

Easy now, were putting all that stuff back in by 2009. Great cost savings...
