The future is larger aircraft, but what the managements are doing is shifting that flying over to cheap regional labor. They've got the major airline pilots by the b***s right now and they're going to squeeze 'em as hard as they can for as long as they can. Many regional pilots are going to welcome the larger aircraft and fly them at crap wages . . . . then complain why they can't get the major job.

I hope the Mesaba pilots hang tough and don't cower before management like 69% of the APA pilots did.
