So anyway, I answered my own question by reading the Regional section. Great Lakes would probably hire me with my current times.

Yeah.. I dont know why everybody bashes FO's. We all have to start somewhere. I would be glad to take any flying job to biuld time and get a little cash until another flying job comes along. Nobody will ever jump right into the Capt. seat and make $200k a year

ExpressJet is currently at 600/100 for mins. Go apply ASAP on their website IF YOU MEET THE MINS. I hear they look back in your logbook to the date you applied, and if you didn't have the mins, you get sent packing. Apply and DO NOT UPDATE THE APPLICATION TIL THEY CALL YOU. If you update it, you'll get put to the bottom of the list.

I think Great Mistakes mins are 750tt. You can also try Scenic Airlines out of Nevada. I think their mins are around 600 also.

a friend of mine is currently applying at Xjet and he told me they raised their mins to 1000/200..

Heck, at *my* regional airline, FOs aren't even allowed to swing the gear (can't reach the handle, I guess). But they do fly most every other leg.

Yea, in my experience the biggest gear bitch is a non-typed corporate pilot.
followed closely by a CFI. At least I could still fly enough to stay reasonably proficient (well I was FAA current and could get the plane down in one piece) and it was all legitimately loggable.... none of the "I sit right seat in a King Air 300 part 91, can I log this crap" Probably the only advantage the Jetstream 31 has over the Beech 1900.

Just an FYI flyifrvfr......I had that exact avatar picture (hilarious!) and I got into it with "webmaster" on here because he was saying that that avatar pic was offensive. Of course I didn't agree and was asking why that pic was offensive???

He turned into Fidel Castro and said remove it or you will be put in the penalty box... Well sure enough he removed it for me and I was in the penalty box for..I think almost 2 weeks....

Just 4 warning you incase you get a nasty PM from him.

I also heard that unless you have previous 121/135 experience, you won't get hired at XJet right now.

I was the first to grab the picture and use it as my avatar. I will keep it until asked by the moderator to lose it. Thank you for the warning, I believe you have posted a previous warning to me concerning the avatar.
