What are the contracts, how long, and can you break them? If so what is the price?

American Eagle

Rebublic Airways/Chautauqua

Pinnacle Airlines

Comair

Any others?

Why not, management sure has seen fit not to honor it's contracts with anyone.

Eagle - None
Pinnacle - None

Rep/CHq - 2years, plus you sign a promissory note for $16,000 (?) which they give to credit collections if you do not pay (affects your credit rating). Heard this from a recent interviewee, but that was before they reduced mins to 1000 and increased weekly pay to $400 - maybe they will see the light and do away with the contract?

Be sure to tell HR that you want to take it to your attourney for review first. Then, delete key words that nullify their right to the $16,000....then photocopy, sign and return.

I doubt the min wage HR staff will notice and there's nothing wrong with changing the document before you sign it, anyway. Now you'll be able to go to work with your head a little higher than your fellow pilots with SJS.

Generally speaking, pilots make horrible armchair lawyers. It would be best if you didn't follow this advice. I am sure crashpad meant this to be tounge-in-cheek. You did, didn't you?
