I was wondering if anyone has any information on MESA trying to fly for jet blue. I certainly hope not, these guys and there pay scales are effecting everyone in this regional industry. I already had to take a pay cut at my company because MESA came in and put a ridiculously low bid for flying routes that our company already had been flying. Just when you think the pay scales cannot get any lower here comes mesa looking to take everyone's flying.

Also heard Skywest may be close to inking a deal with Northwest to fly in the Seattle area. Is there any truth to these rumors or are they just that rumors?

Take everyone and have a nice Thanksgiving.

The best airline news I heard all day, was on this link here...

http://abcnews.go.com/wire/BackPage/reuters20031126_116.html

If you want to find more about the stories you're interested in reading, I'd go to www.google.com and look at there menu at the top of the page, click news and when you get their, enter the names of the airlines you mentioned and you will find all kinds of news articles.

I usually just enter "airlines" into the search field. After you do your search, you'll see in the upper right hand corner, a place where you can change the relevence by date and you'll get the most recent news first, as opposed to by relevence to topic.

Have fun!
