Does anyone have a good lead on where one might get some good interview prep to polish up some stories? Like some Virgin specific prep.

If you're willing to spend $375, I highly recommend this company: http://www.emeraldcoastinterviewconsulting.com/

I used him for JetBlue because I had been out of the interview routine for the past 12 years and was very happy with the results.

Virgin can be a very tuff nut to crack though. A lot of very good people have been turned down there.

Good luck.

Does anyone know what the interview consists of now? Is it tell me about a time questions? I heard there is an ATP style written now? Are any of the questions technical like on the jepps?

I used to use a site called aviationinterviews.com. There is usually good gouge on there and you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars.

Your profile states 767 Captain. Since when did JB start flying 767s?

I'm currently a 767 captain for a supplemental charter airline and I'm in phase 2 at JB and waiting for a class date.

At the bottom of the Virgin America airline profile on airlinepilotcentral.com there is a link to some interview questions that should be helpful.

TMAAT questions are 90% of the interview. Just keep it short and sweet....this was the situation, here is what I (we) did...this was the outcome. Dont ramble and bore people. There is a written ATP and it is multiple choice. 25 questions. You should know most of the answers off the top of your head or at least be able to filter out the wrong options to narrow it down. Just be yourself and relax.

Its a good group of people that do the interview and it is very laid back. They want to try to get to know who you are and how you think in a 4 hour period....the best way is through the TMAAT format. Good luck.
