Sorry no link. Google red coach, saw it in the pilot bible USA Today.

For those that have been around for a while, have airlines ever tried a similar service as Red Coach? It's a first class fancy bus in FL with comfy seats wifi etc..
For example, all the inner TX cities after Wright Amend is up could use the fancy bus vs losing the pax.

Great Lakes wanted to do a bus from CYS-DEN. You would check in at the airport, go through TSA, drive to DEN and be let out in the secured area just like an aircraft. We made all the obvious jokes about adding a CDL to our license, a greyhound type rating, etc.

The story ends with TSA freaking out about the unsecured bus driving into the airport.

What if Janet Reno was driving the bus?

Or Ditka?

Seriously, that was an interesting idea, perhaps instead of building Customs facilities in the Middle East, they should explore doing something innovative in the Midwest.

;)
