Hey everyone,
1st time poster with a really dumb question. I'm too lazy to research this on the internet, but what's the FAR on recurrency on a turbojet? Specifically, I'm about to get typed in the CJ and wondered how long I can go before getting recurrent again. I understand there's an insurance requirement of usually once every six months to a year, but what's the FAR minimum? Do you have to get a BFR in type? The reason I'm asking is I had a guy tell me that he's never done a recurrent (after getting typed in the CJ...but he stays current in another turbojet) I'm still new to the civilian side, so please forgive my ignorance. And just to quell the critisisms, I wouldn't fly without staying (and feeling) current in type; I just wanted to know what the actual rule was.
Thanks
