With regards to how JetBlue was supposed to be calling folks in for interviews, here is what I was told when I applied 15 months ago. They said there were these "buckets" - one for military, one for regional, one for "major" guys, one for prior A320 experience, etc. So as to get a broad cross section of experience, they would pull "X" number of names from each bucket and call them for interviews. Then they'd hire whoever they really liked. By my count there are very few military pilots available these days as compared to the various civilian background pilots in those other buckets. If they are taking the same number from each bucket, the odds are that you probably shouldn't have to wait a tremendously long time to get the call.
Having said this, I don't know if this is the method they are using for interview selection these days. It may have gone to who has the most experience since they have gotten a solid base of pilots. In any case good luck.
