Relax. He was descending early to get ahead of a DL flight.

The pilots and Boeing engineers did their job....everybody walked away.

Someone made a mistake in what could have been a very busy situation and a woman wants to get paid. She's a nobody who wants to be a somebody. Nothing more, nothing less.

The news vultures smelled blood and rolled in hot.....

LUMBERG...........

Reminds me of a time at the ex when the captain told the FA that "we're going to lose the plane in ATL". She had the pax assume the crash position and brace for impact. Nice huh. There's a big difference between "we're going down" and "we're descending due to a indication in the cockpit". Hopefully facts will shed better light on the situation. It was probably a SWA 747 too.

Nice job

Well at least they pulled up before the nose wheel Kuhrasshhhed into the runway this time.

Nice job cowhands.

Can't she see that it was just "hard bargaining" talk from the captain?...

That's true.

Remember to tip your flight crew on the way out, and try the fish!

Nice how the TV station links this to a earlier bird strike problem. Talk about sensationalism.

I suppose as pilots we would know right away the guy was doing an emergency descent. 41,000ft with a pressurization problem. Don't want to wait to long. Missed the CNN expert pilot Miles somebody. Certainly his private pilot experience would have given us all the facts. The media was all over this one including the GOOF BALL woman. She was most likely the one boarding looking for her seat assignment.

PLUMMETING? God I HATE PLUMMETING!!!! Especially in an airplane!!!!!

But just curious: what else Plummets? I mean besides, well, airplanes?
