I have it on good authority that the pilots
will get to share the possible insurance rebate if we reduce our claim history with
them.
Lately there seems to be a gear-up or a controlled taxi into an immoveable
object every month or two.

WTF???

To answer the original question both Concord and Raleigh are Mx and pilot bases, when I was there they had sleeping accomadations for the pilots at each location. Some of the main outstations are Charleston, WV and Columbia, SC, others in various locals in GA. One in Jacksonville FL. Maryland BWI.

Douglas H--you wanna talk about class fine.
Lets overlook the low pay, the downright scary maintenance, the sleezy contract you have to sign to get hired, and the way they treat their people (indicated in this letter).
A plane is being bent every month or two. They know this. They dont do anything about it. Maybe the problem is with the way they recruit, interview, and train their pilots. But none of that will change. "Be the man and take the
heat, show some character, you will be treated fairly" That is code talk for pay our insurance deductible and we wont fire you. Now is exposing them on the internet a classy thing to do? No. I know that. But as I stated in a previous post what they do is much worse (might end up getting someone killed) and it all cancells out.

Sorry "class act"ers. If I were about to apply to Ram, I'd want to know that the planes are getting wrapped around things on a regular basis. If you want to dispute the accuracy of the information, cool. If you want to "spin" it, and claim it makes you a tougher, better pilot to work somewhere they pay poorly and break airplanes, cool. But I can't see how an argument can be made that it's bad for pilots to know this stuff before they get in to it. Unless you're management...

I hope they're around long enough for me to get in. FAA must be all over them with that many mishaps.

Score one for the RAM faithful. Good job not defending the ridiculous letter your company put out and crying to the mods to get them to take it down. You guys really are a class act.

PS- Anyone who wants to read it can PM me, prospective employees highly encouraged to do so

Hey thanks a lot Coltsfn8888. Now because you chose to publish that letter in an open forum, us past employees who have had a good relationship with Ram won't be able to access the employees page, network with all the past employees or update our information with Ram Air. Thanks a lot hope you feel better, have you sufficiently vented.

Thanks, you ******************************. You're posting of a company memo has now denied me access to a lot of old friends address and phone numbers. I really appreciate you doing that for me.

Districtpilot, 1973Arrow once a memo ends up in my email it is no longer an internal document for employees only. Your both free to call, email, and network with all the employees you want. If RAM wants to keep something private then they should tell their pilots that, or maybe they should just stop writing things that outline their safety record and their lack of appreciation for their pilots.

Wow, you really are first class...
