Ram Air Freight is a growing Part 135 air courier
operator that has been in business since 1982,
with 12 bases scattered throughout the Southeast.
Our regular schedule of Monday through Friday
assignments, the majority of the routes being
day/afternoon runs instead of riding the back side
of the clock, allows you to be home every night
and have a “normal” life outside of your job while
gaining the invaluable experience of single pilot,
multi engine, all weather operations.

There is no minimum multi engine time requirement
for applying.
Thanks to our 65% twin to single engine airplane
ratio upgrades range between 2 weeks to 2 months
after the initial checkride, depending upon the
employee’s flexibility to relocate.
Training lasts a full week and incorporates in
depth ground and flight training, during which Ram
Air Freight provides housing.

In order to qualify applicants MUST meet Part 135
IFR minimums, be actively flying and instrument
proficient, and more generally be capable of
reaching checkride standards within 6 hours of
flight training.

Lotta has returned from her trip to the old country, so everyone better shape
up and start acting like you’ve got some sense. Make sure you take the right plane
and check the maintenance sheet, etc.
Many thanks to Jon Heuman and company for our new pilot pay policy. As our
latest pay increases show, we are doing everything possible to attract and retain
quality people like you.​

We will not lower our standards. Together we can
make Ram Air the premier business of its type in the country world universe!
Our esteemed Chief pilot and crew are working hard to recruit new pilots. As
you may know, we are at a historic low in our pilot staffing. In the meantime, all
your dedication and hard work to make up the difference is working and is
appreciated. Those pilots who are doing extra runs be sure to get your extra halfday’s
pay (at the new pay rate) by putting a big note on the comments section of
your load manifest. Also, some folks are collecting their $400 for recruiting pilots,
so be sure to get yours!
The word from our Chief Mechanic is “Stop breaking our planes! Also,
anyone caught breaking a plane will be shot, chopped into little pieces, and
thrown in the dumpster!” But seriously, I have it on good authority that the pilots
will get to share the possible insurance rebate if we reduce our claim history with
them.
Lately there seems to be a gear-up or a controlled taxi into an immoveable
object every month or two. This is unacceptable! SLOW DOWN! We have almost
turned the corner on bringing the former Package Express planes into service. If
we could help the mechanics out by letting them concentrate on that and our
regular maintenance, we would all be safer, and happier. But, if you do make a
mistake, don’t make a second one by not correcting it. Be the man and take the
heat, show some character, you will be treated fairly.
Please stay focused on safety. Your career and your life are at stake!
The habits you develop right now, flying or fixing our planes, establish the
character that stays with you throughout your life. Do you pass a gut check? Are
you using proper safe procedures at all times? Also, recent history here proves that
if you are not happy in your work you at a higher risk for an accident. Not long ago
you probably would have done anything for a job here, remember? Keep your
perspective; sometimes all it takes is a change to an attitude of gratitude. Let
someone in management know if there’s a problem. Uncle Ram wants you happy!​

I don't agree with the content and I do have a sense of humor. There is nothing funny about bad pay, poor mx, and crashing airplanes.

Are you telling me that the sign on to the ram air webpage has changed. If it has, I bet that if you call them they will give it too you. I always thought the list of all the old freight dogs was kinda cool.
