It would be very hard to get a job at a major without prior 121 experience, unless of course your dad is the chief pilot.

It may be tough, but it definately isn't impossible. I know several guys that have gone from AMF to Southwest, Frontier and Alaska that never had any 121 time. I also know guys who have gone to most of the major fractionals as well.
 
I can think of at least 3-5 incidents mx wise while i was at Ram. No one got hurt, thank god, but there were many incidents. I won't go into them. Every company has their skeletons. Just be a good thorough pilot and enjoy it. I was at Ram for almost 10 months. There were also things that were caught by pilots that never had a chance to develop. My Freight Dawg days were some of the best of my life and I have some of the best stories of my life from flying freight! It's a right of passage in my opinion!
