Rah contract negotiations?

How goes the talks? Any settlements? Any withdraws of previously Settle Sections? When is the strike? Arbitration on the horizon? Been 5 years plus, getting a return of the 357 dollar? Any "industry leading" results to come? THis contract gonna start a run for IBT representation across the industry? Opinions? A great contract would shut a few doubts about what the IBT shills about versus what it can deliver, I am willing to wager my lucky IBT Membership lube tat Section Six will be on for the next year, any reason NOT to see JetBlue or Better for the 190's etc? Will the IBT prove the doubter wrong? Will the Rank and File put up with it forever?

Not much has changed with negotiations/talks. I believe there have been a few depositions lately, but, I don't remember what they were for?

They're telling interviewees that starting pay will go to at least $30 an hour and a new contract is "close".

but at the IBT. They came to my ground school last month and said that the list goes EVERYWHERE the planes go! With a straight face! They said we should just accept the mediocrity that is the IBT and stop fighting! HAH! Its just begun! They couldn't answer why they just want the money form us, why we get nothing for it, or why am I better being in a Garbage Truck Drivers Union....painful silence on if financial irregularities are behind them...or why they can't get a contract after Six plus years, and on and on.....BTW We have a lot in common, you deserve better....and so do we. You have been rope-a-doped for too long, the IBT hasn't helped, How was insulting Bedford's Religion, and the 5 years of ZERO CONTACT since, worked as a IBT "bargaining tool?" You may want to ask your leadership some hard questions about the direction of the future. PS Bedford may settle because he WANTS too! He needs reliable numbers to bid on AA and DL Express business, I hear the number of A/C being discussed is huge....sleep tight, the IBT is on the job!

I'm not RAH, if that was directed at me. If it wasn't, I plead guilty to conceit.

Although airbii are undoubtedly larger than embraers, I'm not sure I'd actually go as far as to call F9 "the big time." YMMV

Right now, ANY contract that has something other than the F.A.R.'s and no JA, is the "big time"
