Well. At night is a leetle different.
Even at night you can see quite a bit out the window and get a LOT of information on WX, unless you are one of those idiots that has the "light override" switch on all the time UGHRRR.....! :angryfire
 
I saw this during the 90's while jumpseating an American 767 into Dallas. The two college educated pilots had no idea how to use a radar.
