I just got the word from his mom that Will passed away on Sunday when he hit a semi in Auburn, WA. He graduated from UND last summer and he was our first instructor.

One thing that impressed me about him was his dedication to his family. He was working a very hard warehouse job and instruct as much as possible..

Our "Boomhauer" will be greatly missed.. :(

Victim of fatal crash was Maple Valley man
A man who died in a head-on collision Monday in southwest Auburn was identified Tuesday as William Barnett Jr., 24, of Maple Valley.
Barnett died at the scene of the accident, which occurred about 3 p.m. in the 1300 block of C Street Southwest.
An Auburn police spokesman said Barnett apparently was traveling north on C Street Southwest. After passing a car that was in the inside lane of the four-lane street, Barnett's Honda coupe spun out of control and slid sideways into a large truck that was southbound on C Street.

Condolences to his family, that's rough that he was so young.

No guarantees in life guys.
