I flew my latest r/c airplane just about everyday this summer. I didn't really have much else to do.

I wanted something cheap and tough, so I built one for less than $20 using information from this page.

This is basically the airplane I built, but of course I had to "improve" on it since I can't resist the urge to create something unique.

Its actually pretty cool designing and flying your own airplane. Even if it is a r/c model. I welded up an old car gas tank strap for the landing gear, and used some pine trim for the wing spar. It took me about 3 evenings to build, and man is this thing tough. Best part it you don't really care if you crash it. I flew on some rediculously windy days that I normally would not even attempt. **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** near hovered in a few landings.

That B-25 crash was ugly. Explosion of plywood and balsa on impact.

What kind of car was that? 10th or 8th scale? Looked like a Kyosho but not sure. Let me know, that would be the perfect Christmas gift to myself along with a T-Maxx.

Answered my own question

The car jumping is a Kyosho Inferno1/8 scale 4wd. I would love to see a T-Maxx do the same.
