The sectional for Jacksonville seems to be saying that R-2933 is restricted only from 5000 to unlimited. Is this correct? Since that 2933 is protected from the north and west side by 2934 (which IS restricted surface to unlimited), and protected on the south side by CCAFS Class D, could you legally fly into 2933 from the east over the ocean, as long as your outside the CCAFS Class D? ) (And would CCAFS Tower ever allow transition through the Class D?)

I was under the impression that the whole area within the dark blue arch off the coast was restricted from surface to unlimited?

When in doubt, don't go in there.

Best way to stay legal/safe.

CCAFS class D stops at 2500' agl. R-2932 and R-2933 share the same lateral area. R-2932 is from the surface up to 4999' and is continuous. R-2933 is 5000' to unlimited and is intermittent. Check with approach to see if it is hot or cold.

As far as the shaded area, see 91.143 regarding space operations. That area is only hot +/- 3 hours from a launch.

When coming from the east, be above 5k and below 11k (R-2935's floor) and south of R-2934 which is unlimited and you won't have to worry about it. Or better yet, direct MLB VOR then on course.
