This post is directed at all those that like to rant about how crappy the lines are at ASA.

What is the point of posting your opinions about your view of the lines at ASA? Does Flightinfo have the ability to change things for you at ASA? NO! Why don't you post your opinion on the ALPA board? Have you called your ALPA reps? Have you called the crew planning office to voice your displeasure? Have you done anything but rant here on a public board that has no hope to change things? My guess is you've done none of that. If you have, then good for you.....but then you have too much time on your hands with nothing else to do but scream about something that will likely not change.

So please, do me a favor and go b!tch to someone who can do something for you. If you're not willing to do that, then SHUT IT!

P.s. Flame away!

Comair's lines have sucked for the last 20 months. I don't see posts every month bitchin about it.

The lines suck every where...get over it.

What would calling the ALPA reps do? What would calling your schedulers do? Are they supposed to say "Oh we didn't realize anyone disliked the lines, let us make them better because you asked"

Disclaimer, I'm not an ASA pilot, but everyone everywhere has scheduling complaints and would like to know the magic fixes.

Amen Brotha's.. It Sure Does Get Old.

Do you have an obsessive compulsion to click on every thread? How about this... when you see a thread topic with ASA and lines in it, DON'T F'IN CLICK ON IT!

Internet democracy is a good thing. Internet nazis telling people what to say and what not to say are not a good thing.

Feel free to ignore the posts that you don't want to hear about.

I don't usually comment about crappy lines, but I have to agree with John.

Also, for those of you who essentially say "join the club" or "looks like a typical line at XYZ airlines, quit whining" Just because lines suck at your company, doesn't mean they HAVE to at mine. Don't sell yourself so short.

To many, including me sometimes, ASA pilots seem very whiny about their schedules. I never understood why but I do now. We have had it pretty good for a long while compared to others in this industry. Now we are "getting ours" and you all seem pretty giddy about it. You don't complain because it has been bad the whole time you have worked there.

So pardon some of my colleagues, for complaining about 6 leg days, or 4 hour sits. We have not had these crappy schedules in a long while.

We should ALL be struggling for better QOL. The answer is for us ALL to raise the bar on QOL, instead of saying "hey, join the club"
