Are there any Warrant Officers currently flying the UC-35 that would be willing to answer a few questions? I am only ankle deep into the process of pursuing a reserve position, however, before I waste any more of the accessions recruiters time I would like to try and find out more about it.

Where are these aircraft based?

What do you do during a typical drill on a weekend, and the two week annual?

How many hours would/could a reservist fly per month?

Do these aircraft ever get deployed?

Does a reservist recieve "aviation incentive pay"?

Do you like what you do?

Thank you in advance.

Ask your question on Aptap.org forum. Plenty of UC-35 guys there. I can answer 2 of your questions with certainty.

"Do these aircraft ever get deployed?" PLENTY

"Does a reservist recieve "aviation incentive pay"? YES

Don't dream of joining the Reserves or Guard off the street (No Prior Mil Exp) and hopping right into a FW Unit, let alone a Jet Det. There are plenty of Army RW and FW pilots who have paid their dues over many years to get those prime slots.
