I'm currently in the hired pool at SWA hoping for a class date prior to April. To do something constructive, I ordered the study cards from John Pansmith (Actually I had my wife order them for me for Christmas!). After going through them, I have some questions that I could use a little help on. I got my type at Higher Power in the -200 so I'm not familiar with many of the differences for the -300,500,700 yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. OK here goes:
Where is the ATSCALL PANEL (CALL light for SELCALL)?
Where is the UPPER DISPLAY UNIT (-700 only I think)?
Where is the FLT MODE ANNUNCIATOR PANEL (A/P P/RST light)
Where is the MODE CONTROL PANEL (MA light)
Where is the HGS ANNUNCIATOR PANEL?
What does HGS stand for?
Where is the IRS MODE SELECTOR PANEL?
What does IRS stand for?
On the Engine Panel there is a PMC Switch (-300, 500) or an EEC Switch (-700). What does PMC and EEC stand for?
Where is the CARGO SMOKE DETECTION/FIRE SUPPRESSION PANEL (-300,500)?
I have an idea on most of these but thought I'd ask someone that has the knowledge. Again, I appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks!!
