I was wondering how many companies use full-time FAs versus contract FAs?

Also, what is the difference between a "cabin aide" and a "flight attendant"?

Thanks! a dumb pilot

Cabin Aide is a non-certified Flight Attendant, just there to serve the drinks & pass out the food, if the airplane goes down, don't depend on the Cabin Aide very much as they do not have any formal training. They may receive some sort of internal from the company as to the location of the doors.

Each company, or owner is different. You have a large enity such as NetJets, and then again, you can have a millionaire flying his GV around with his Flight Attendants that are dedicated to the airplane.
