Questions about the SWA App

I know the app has only been up for a while, and thanks to this board for putting the word out. A few questions for anyone that has already filled it out.
The web page addresses which time is not allowed, such as Other, FE, so on and so on. I assume then, that student/upgrade time is permissible in the blocks where it asks for total time in specific type of aircraft?
Also, for the military folks, there is a break down for PIC/SIC and total for Transport/Cargo, and Fighter/Bomber, any thoughts which category you would put T-XX white jet/trainer aircraft time…. closer to single seat I would presume. There is no text area available to explain it in a remark?
I suppose these are things that come up on any application. You just fill it out the best you can, and justify why you put what where, if you are lucky enough to get called for the interview. Thoughts anyone?

I filled out the app and submitted, but when I log back in to make sure i can edit my app, most of the info is blank. It doesn't look too user friendly for use in "updating". It seems that you would have to totally re-input most of the info.

Anybody else experience this?

I had no problem getting in, filling it out, and editing it afterwards. As far as white jet time, I stuck mine in the transport/cargo category, along with the rest of my time...personally that's where I would stick it unless you had lots of of it, ie. you were an IP...just my .02...

I found the same problem - got all the way through the online application, was thanked for applying - then, like any conscientious pilot, went back to check the info - and everythinig was gone - was only able to log back in, not able to view my own info. Thought I might get an email confirmation - no dice. Anybody with the same experience?

I had the same problem, I was almost done with my app. and it gave me an error message and to please notify HR.


I will wait until monday and try again

Online app

You guys got me worried so I logged back on again just to check again....my info is still there. I would try this evening if I were you. I did mine last night around 10 pm and it saved it just fine. Good Luck!

I just filled the app out a few hrs ago. I read the posts here and went back to see if my info dumped and luckily it was all there. For those of you who had info vanish, might want to go back and fill it back in while the numbers are still fresh in your mind.....and while your at it, curse your computer

If you are competitive for an interview, why would you enter your stuff before they told you too? It might not matter, but then again it might.

Follow the directions!

If you are not competitive for an interview, it wont matter if you enter it early or late, you will still not be competitive. If you are competitive, you will still be competitive tonight at midnight.
