And if I am not mistaken there are many that lost years of service as well when compared to DOH. Northwest guys that were placed behind a delta guy that was hired 3-4 years after them? Correct me if I am wrong.

I have no idea what you are talking about, but no one lost more than about 2.5% of their relative seniority from their respective pre-merger airline. So, if a FNWA guy was at 93% at FNWA, then he ended up at 93% +/- 2.5% on the combined list. Same way with a former DAL guy. This isn't rocket science.

Also, the FNWA guys got credit for longevity while on furlough (and not bypassing) - a provision that they didn't have until the JCBA. So, in reality, your post is incorrect.

There are FNWA guys hired in 2000-2001 merged in with 2007 Delta hires if that is your question. They didn't, however, lose relative seniority or longevity.

OYS, so you are a post merger hire Delta pilot but are also a furloughed United pilot? I take it you will not be going back to United. What have you heard about the rest of the United Furloughs, are they going to go to Continental before the complete merger?
