Hey guys, Im not a pilot, just wanted to pick yourbrain. When you're in the Hawker 400XP is your callsignhawker or do you still call it a beechjet? I taxied one the other dayand I felt weird calling it a hawker. Are they calling it an XPnow because it can carry more weight? Just wanted to get your thoughts.

Honestly don't know. We all use our company call signs unless we are going international. You might want to bring this up in the corporate section, I'd be curious too.

^ ahh I didnt know you used company call signs. When I go to do a performance run I call myself "maintenance beechjet or hawker"

Its like flying a single engine Piper. Do you say piper, arrow, or cherrokee.

I just end up copying whatever ATC says.
