I heard your list will unfortunately be dwindled to 7700 pilots by the end of next year. What DOH is #7700? Good Luck to all.
 
I don't have the agreement in front of me, but I think it is 7900 and change.

As far as furloughs...we have 844 out right now which goes back to April 2000 hires. If the company furloughs the additional 600 as per the new agreement that will push it back to about the early September class of 1999. It is my somewhat educated guess that the company will lay off about 300 pilots early next year with the remaining 300 being furloughed over the following several months.

Management has said that the company will be 23% smaller than it was on 9/10/2001.

Our last guy right now is around 9200 - that was current as of Jul 1st. We have had about 150 retire since then. Hang on to those line numbers boys, you'll be back. I know a few widebody captains that spent several years on forlough. They're getting by now. I still think CH11 is coming, but the reorganizing is already being done.
