Do you guys take your longevity with you for pay purposes at Mid-Atlantic?

If so what are the 5 and 10 year F/O and Capt. rates?

Just as a side note the U furloughees do NOT get to take their longevity for pay to MDA.

All true, yet FO pay scale is American Eagle 70 seat pay... STINKS....... Thats why FOs at the wholly owns are getting the seats.. nobody want 20k a year, when u get more as a FO at PDT/ALG to fly Dash 8 (after u factor in pay credit and work rules...)

It appears that like the other J4J offers that U is not getting many takers for the MDA slots. Last I heard they were down to 1/99 DOH looking for Captains.(that is about 900 numbers down the list or so) Considering how early in the process MDA is, it looks like the W/O's will come up for Capt slots shortly.

I have a feeling that U MEC is going to catch alot of heat from the pilot group over this, especially when the W/O guys are getting paid 10 to 30 more an hour than the U furloughees are. Especially considering that MDA is operating under USAirs 121 certificate.

I think that both the company and the MEC are stupified that the furloughees keep passing on all these slots. I guess they figured that no one would hire a bunch of 6000 to 10,000 hour pilots to fly other things and that they could pay them chicken feed and still get very experienced crews.

Looks like it will be a good deal for the W/O pilots though, Especially the 10 year + guys.

Probably going to cost the company more money in wages than it would have to just put the 170's on the mainline contract and call back all the furloughees at F-28 rates. The 170's would have been flown by 4 and 5 year Captains and new hire F/O's. Instead they are going to end up with 10 and 15 year Captains and 4 and 5 year F/O's.

Oh well, the mainline MEC neg. it... Now they have to live with it. And there are a bunch of guys/gals with 18 plus at the WO's...80 a/c is about 500 pilots at MDA, plus we are hiring like mad at Piemdont.. 28 month with no end. To maintain a fleet of 60-80 Dash 8's . I guess they are expecting us all to go to MDA.
But then again, i think with PDT/ALG merging.. MDA will enter the mix and we will all be one comany... Either with PSA or it going to MESA.. Who knows?
