Medical is handled by United Healthcare and is a PPO network. Cost is $102/month for employee only and $347 for family coverage.

They come into new hire class and tell you about the dental schools in Alton, IL and Kansas City and encourage you to consider those choices. I'm not kidding. If having dental students work on you sounds less fun than a trip to the dentist, TSA offers dental insurance through MetLife that costs $14 for the employee only and $57 for family coverage.

Medical insurance costs were significant increases this year and generated a lot of complaints from employees. The company says it just reflects the overall trends in health costs everywhere.

The 401k match is 1%, regardless of length of service, although you aren't allowed to participate in the 401k (even without a match) until after 1 year employment (actually more - the first July 1st or January 1st to come around after your 1 year anniversary).
