In the history of contract negotiations w/ your management; how long have you all ever gone past the amenable date?
Looking for fuel to counter our management at US...they say they are trying to emulate SWA as the gold standard of how employees are treated....

Thanks for the input.... the current contract...I take it that it has in it a cost of living increase per year??Somebody who's been with SWA awhile will have to answer this one. Most of us (like 70%) have been hired since our last contract in '94.
Cheers

yes it does
No, it doesn't.
I may be the minority but I think we deserve a raise AND retro pay.

Concur.
It has longevity increases, not COL increases.
Semantics. For us not-so-smart-folks an annual raise of a few percent kinda is like a COLA raise. More money for doing the same job one year longer. Ask any Legacy driver on here how "Max pay til the last day" worked out.

The "current" contract expired last September.
As the polling has shown, pay is not an issue for the SWA Pilots right now.
There is no public poll, only the Wilson Group info that has been used by the Negotiating Committee. Believe me, COLA+ is a minimum, or we're going backwards.
Hello Southwest Pilots
I am very interested in a future career as a Southwest Pilot. I know the competition is high and it is difficult to get hired. However I feel I can bring some good qualities to your airline. I spent 15 years in the hospitality business, currently hold just under 5000 TT, over 3000 Turbine BE1900D with 1340 Turbine BE1900D PIC/Check airman. I do not have jet time, but I do have the attitude that SWA look for. Having flown in the NE corridor in the worst wx for the past 3 years was the toughest flying I will ever do/
I would really appreciate any advice from current SWA pilots on what I can do best to increase my opportunity to work along side you SW pilots. Thank you for your help and fly safe.

Tejas. Bro. Between you and Burger I'm wondering just what you think you're worth?
We deserve a raise. Gary Kelly just got a 25% raise and over 200k in bonuses.......... and you don't think you're worth one?
I just don't get it. If you have the time I'd like for you two to explain why you don't think we deserve more annual compensation.
Thanks in advance,
Gup
