How do your reserve guys bid schedules using the PBS? Does navtech have a module for this or do you have to bid after the PBS lines are awarded.

Way to complex to type out....but...

I just bid preferred days off in order of their priority/the most important, than make sure it says 'Award trips" after that. If I'm close to holding a line, I'll bid actual trips, then preferred days off.

Reserve bids are done at the same time as regular lines--at least when it comes to the bid deadline.

The contract says Reserve Pilots get 11 days off per month. However, I have bid 12 off and have been awarded it and still received gaurantee. Happened one time.

You can bid your prefered days off in PBS, but the reserve lines are manually awarded.
