Will the APR activate if Power setting is in MCT? Does the operative engine go up any % at all?

Thanks

I am going to guess No since MCT is out of the takeoff regiment. It would be interesting to know definitely, anyone in the sim this week?

My thinking would be this...

The 45 just uses a set of DEECs with detents in the throttle quadrant. The DEECs don't know or care what detent you are in, only the thrust lever angle. So it should arm, regardless of the of the detent, if one engine rolls back.

If APR is armed, ANYTIME there is a difference of 15% or more N2, APR will activate. If you are in the T/O detent, your thrust will go up 2% from 3500#'s to 3650#'s sea level blah blah blah. I believe that it counts for 4 engine cycles if APR is activated at T/O power.
