Glock 22 (40 S&W), Light, well built, not too big, not too small, shoots forever. I have run close to a 1000 rounds through mine and it has never given me a lick of trouble. Takes a little getting used to firing.

I'm not a gun buff, but the first gun I bought was a .40 Beretta. Maybe it's not the best out there, but it has never jammed once. I really like it... Feels comfortable and might be fairly accurate if it weren't for the operator!! Hehe!
I'm kinda wondering the same thing...I had a 96FS Centurion for my first handgun and I loved it, in fact I'm still kicking myself for selling it.

(I remember firing it right before firing a friend's Ruger p-whatever...it made that Ruger feel like a clunky "Playskool" toy.)

I know that they had materials problems early on that lead to slide failures with using hi-perf ammunition, but that was fixed --thus the "S" moniker, if I remember right-- and I'm not aware of any other problems that they had.

What do you have against the Berreta?

Oh, I don't really have anything against them at all! There was a post earlier that said something like "Just cuz the Military uses them doesn't mean they're good." I'm just sure there are a lot of guns out that exceed it's capabilities.

It's a good gun for me. I don't shoot a whole lot and definitely not competitively.

Weapon of Choice

Sig Sauer but that there Glock 22 is pretty darn nice, and in the short barrel perfect for those who prefer to wear skirts but still want a good power punch weapon..

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific...I was actually agreeing with your post...my question was directed at PHX45.

Ah, no sweat. ;)

That's easy for you to say...where were you when we were gettin high?

"Slowly walking down the hall
Faster than a cannon ball
Where were you while we were getting high?
Some day you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova in the sky"

Hahaha...it's 5/5/5 and we're gettin' high!

Actually, it does not matter. The hand gun is a great investment. Personally, I collect Lugars and P-38's. On an average, they appreciate about 15 percent a year. They do not poop, they do not eat, and they do not complain.

I'm stickin' with the classics...

FN Browning Hi-Power 9mm. With Hydro-shocks as a kicker... :D TC

P.S.--Planning on getting a USP from the FFDO program when I can come up with the bucks.
