I'm trying to jumpseat on an international flight that's overbooked by 14 in economy, with 12 seats available in business (overall -2).

Will I get to go if I'm the last non-rev left and they fill up economy, but have business class seats available?

Also, does anyone know if you have to use a U.S. passport to jumpseat internationally? I'm going to Russia, and my visa is in my EU passport (I have 2).

Any input appreciated.

Well ain't that a mess.
I have been over to UUEE a few times. They really do not seem to care over there as long as you have a visa and a Moscow city stamp.
Here I would guess that unless you are Jason Bourne that it is the same name in both passports. Last time I went my passport number was on the Int'l JS res and ticket. Might get sticky but not too bad. Make sure that you call in plenty of time and list. (Must be done, you cannot show up at the gate and request to get on.
On getting on. I am sure that if there are seats you will get on. They will put a J/S in Business class if avail. I highly doubt that at departure time there will be any left, but you never know.
Keep in mind that ATL is a 766-400 for cargo. I have not heard of the flights being payload optimized, but we do carry a lot of cargo.

Thanks for the reply. The flight is out of JFK (DL 30). I am intimately familiar with Delta's JS policy. I've gone over and back numerous times (and you guys have always been great, wish I could work there except I'm stuck in American Eagle FO limbo). I'll be shooting for check-in 3 hours prior.

Top priority is getting A seat, I don't really care where it is!
