Question about FDC NOTAMs over Power Plants

Honestly... I dunno... I have no idea about gliders. Do you have a transponder ??? if we see a 1200 code circling a landmark or something, and we're not talking to you... you're getting a visit in the air.

Don't normally fly one that has it equipped.

If it's a Xponder equipped glider, should we contact ATC, so they know that we are a glider, perhaps even get a code?

I'll miss doing 8's on St. Lucie 1 & 2! Did it before 9/11...got some good shots to send to my old nuke buddies. Having used to work inside one of those containment buildings, it sure is much nicer to be on the outside; especially nowadays that they are more of a target of interest.
